Village Garden Greenhouses is an independent retail garden center serving the Appomattox and surrounding areas.  We are committed to providing a superior selection of quality plants, plant products and plant services at fair prices. We opened our doors in 2000 with one greenhouse, but have now grown to 4 houses and acres of nursery stock. 

 

Whether you like to plant—or just like plants—there’s plenty for you at Village Gardens. We offer tropical plants, indoor flowering and foliage plants for home and office are available, as well as exotic blooming summer patio plants, cacti, and unusual species for collectors. 

 

Our three acre nursery offers the finest selection of shrubs and trees in central Virginia. Our collections of ornamental trees, shrubs, herbs,  daylilies and perennials are extensive. And that’s not all. We have plants for sun, shade, fragrance, butterflies and birds, natives to exotics—from unusual or hard to find varieties to the basics. 

 

Our garden department offers tools, fertilizers, soils and mulches, pond supplies, and other gardening accessories. In addition, we offer vegetable, herb, and flower seeds and slips

 

You will find gifts galore—for gardeners and non-gardeners — including garden ornaments, statuary and fountains, bird feeders, wind chimes, candles, flags, Aroma Diffusers and more. We offer Gift Cards in any amount.
